Carry the Load Challenge

Date | Friday 19 June

Time | 5 pm

Location | Mingara Regional Athletics Track

Join us for the Carry the Load Challenge as we recognise Men’s Health Week from Monday 15  to Sunday 21 June! This powerful event on Friday 19 June is designed to promote teamwork, resilience and spread awareness around men’s physical and mental health within our community.

Held at the Mingara Regional Athletics Track and open to both members and guests, teams of 4 will work together to carry a sandbag around our 400m track – aiming to complete as many laps as possible within a 2-hour challenge window.

This event is about more than the physical challenge, it’s a chance to support one another and highlight the importance of both Mens Health Week and Talk2mebro – a charity dedicated to improving men’s mental health and reducing suicide through connection and conversation. This is a great reminder to start conversations, check in with mates, and take positive steps toward better wellbeing.

Men’s Teams | 50kg sandbag
Women’s Teams | 35kg sandbag
Track | 400m
Goal | Complete as many laps as possible in 2 hours

Share the load, Support your team.
